a-bot-team stormed to the top of the league for the first time this season this afternoon with a comprehensive 7-0 demolition of HF EVO CITY.

Playing at a high tempo, the Nobodys Stadium side had the game sewn up by half-time.

league-v-230By then, Lucas Hoyland had netted his first goal of three and both wingers, Scott Lane and Christopher Byrne, had fired in his first league goal of the season.

There was to be no let-up for the visitors after the break as a-bot-team continued to dominate, and two goals each from Olaf Haberger and Lucas Hoyland wrapped up the points.

“We dominated the game from start to finish and could well have won by a bigger margin”, claimed coach Malcolm Warren afterwards. “We’re still unbeaten and third in the league, but the big matches are still to come”.


Youth Academy

a-bot-youth-team stay top of the table despite loosing for the first time this season.

The home side had a 2-1 lead at half-time with goals from Abel Akpom and Vasilis Bushaway and things were looking good. The visitors took control in the second-half but wasn´t able to take advantage of their dominance until they took the lead, after scoring twice in seven minutes, in the seventy-ninth minute.
Howard Spade took the only chance the home side was given in the second-half, easily knocking in the equaliser two minutes later only to see RDXjr’s Rick Childers put them back in front a further two minutes later.
It was a very close match, in which RDXjr’s kept the upper hand, 3-4.
