A very hard fought match saw a-bot-team´s reserves winning away in Mongolia this morning.

“There wasn’t much between the sides throughout the match, but we pretty much took our chances when they arose”, admitted Malcolm Warren afterwards.

“The game wasn’t a classic by any stretch of the imagination, and we rode our luck a bit at times”, he added. “I’d also agree that the scoreline flatters us, but we won which is all that matters”.

Bob Barnes had opened the scoring after twenty-seven minutes, and Steve Bronson scored our decisive second goal five minutes before the end.

In front of the fifth full house in a row, the Nobodys Stadium side were taking no chances and comprehensively dismantled their visitors with a devastating display of attacking football to almost seal the championship. Only two matches away from the clubs first league title.

In front of 20,000 spectators, a-bot-team were a goal up inside the first four minutes through Scott Hardiman and from then on there was no way there would be any slip-ups. abt´s set-piece specialist, Ryurik Izmestiev, struck a 30 metre free kick home 16 minutes into the match putting the home side two up.

“We showed what we are capable of today and I’m delighted for the lads”, beamed Malcolm Warren afterwards. They’ve worked very hard this season and now have their reward”.

He continued, “We were fortunate to keep the team together after the last two season, finishing in second place twice”.

Ryurik Izmestiev scored his second of the day with a well-executed free kick after 70 minutes. a-bot-team’s other two goals came from player-coach Malcolm Warren.

The club finished 3rd in season 59, 2nd in season 60 and 61.
a-bot-team goes into the last two fixture of their fifth season in division 6 looking to win the title and promotion for the first time.

The top of the table duel between a-bot-team and -BlackHeart- continued during yesterdays League VI.70 matches, reaching new dimensions.
The battle of the none BOT teams has become a fight of goal to goal rather than points to points.

The situation before kick-off, saw a-bot-team as league leaders with equal points and only two goals better off than -BlackHeart- (see table below).

At half-time -BlackHeart- had pulled one back due to their 6-0 score line, a-bot-team only being 0-5 up. -BlackHeart- went back into first place after fourtyeight minutes but only to hold on until the seventyfourth minute. In the mean-time a-bot-team had raised their goal tally to 0-9 putting them back in the lead.
After ninty minutes a-bot-team were now three goals better off, the matches ending
