a-bot-team brought the curtain down on season 61 with a fine 5-0 win over The dando in front of a full house at Nobodys Stadium.

“It was fantastic to see the stadium full”, admitted Warren, “We finished in second place for the second season running, conceding only nine goal in the league”.
The game itself, gave the youngsters aother change to prove themselves again, saw the home side seize the early initiative by netting the opener in the twenty-second minute through Anton Carter.
One up at half-time, a-bot-team really upped their game in the second half, and within seven minutes after the restart, Trevor Dearn scored a second.
The home side was piling on the pressure and it was only inevitable that the visitors’ defence would buckle sooner or later. So it came as no real surprise when Anton Carter broke through and increased their lead in the sixty-fourth minute to put a-bot-team three up.
A magnificent combination in the middle in the sixty-sixth minute resulted in Luka Burns and ten minutes later, Freddie Hillman cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team’s goalkeeper.
The win saw a-bot-team finish the season with thirty-two points, two more than last season.
RC_United – a-bot-team 0-9
a-bot-team confirmed a second place finish in the division this evening after their clear win at New Medlock House, home of RC_United.
Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 23 minutes into the match left abt’s Kent Nguyen completely free to score. 0-1 for the visitors.
Trevor Dearn took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side’s goalie and centre backs 26 minutes into the match. 0-2 for abt.
With 38 minutes played, Darren Barnes put abt 0-3 up after another defensive blunder.

After 59 minutes, a mistake by the home side’s left defence allowed Lucas Hoyland to get through. He outclassed the home side’s keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0-5.
Trevor Dearn increased the visitors’ lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0-6.
Duncan Schneider was first to reach a ball launched long through the center from abt’s defence 73 minutes into the game. He managed to keep his cool and beat the goalkeeper to make the score 0-7.
Luka Burns received a delicate pass through the home side’s central defence after 83 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0-8.
Darren Barnes made the hattrick complete with a fine move down the left after 84 minutes, making it 0-9.

a-bot-team – Hull Huskies 7-0
Sundays league match against Hull Huskies saw coach Warren fielded the youngest team ever to play a competitive game for a-bot-team.
The average age was 19,09.
Seven players were promoted from a-bot-team’s Youth academy, one was discovered by a-bot-team and the other three have been with the club from the start.
abt started off with a 4-3-3 lineup.
Center-forward, 17 year old Anton Carter, scored four times on his debut after only one day of training with the first team. The match ended 7-0 for the home side. The other goal scorers were Adrian Cumberland, Duncan Schneider and Luka Burns.
Warren said afterwards,”The youngsters have got to get match pratice to help them develop” also “Our last three matches this season are all against BOT teams, a perfect time to start, don´t you think?”
