League Kenniesheros – a-bot-team 1-2

Darren Barnes’s first minute free kick, hitting the crossbar, and Glenn Munn-Giddings, second away goal of the season were the only two chances worth mentioning in the first half.
The game only realy got started after the home team equalised in the 67′ minute. Nicky Naveaux scored with a well-rehearsed free kick. Steve Ramsay made it 1-2 for the visitor in the 85′ minute following a fine move down the left.
abt’s 19 year old defender Freddie Hillman was shown the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge on Jaakko Ojalainen, who was taken off injured. A minute later Hillman received a second yellow card after a severely mistimed tackle on Antero Borges Ribeiro and was sent off.

At the after match press conference coach Woodhall said…”I´m very pleased with the result but would like to apologise for the complete black-out of our young central defender” also “I wish the two players involved a quick recovery”.

Cup a-bot-team – Coventry Rejects 2-1
The reserves showed no respect to match favourite Coventry Rejects at Nobodys Stadium this evening, defeating them 2-1.

Two first half goals from Ozzy Hoboken, in the twenty-ninth minute and Hal Griffiths, five minutes later, was enough to keep the Rejects at bay. abt felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.

The Rejects only scored once and coach Woohall said afterward “They through everthing they had at us, but we held on bravely”.

League Unionist AFC – a-bot-team 2-5
Unionists went ahead 4 minutes into the match, a typically brave header by Ollie Corbett.
Darren Barnes made it 1-1 after 11 minutes, John Martin’s well placed shot made it 2-1 for the visitors 9 minutes later.
abt put themselves 1-3 ahead as Andy Schafer finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick.
The home team pulled one back with an expertly taken 85th minute penalty from William Sloan, only to see the visitors score two in the last four minutes, making the final score 2-5.
